This exquisite 16 meter was built in Whangarei, New Zealand by Alan Orams (Seaglass Marine) from the vaunted Herreshoff designs. One of 16 sisterships, ‘Ethereal’ is immaculate, inside & out. She was delivered to the original owner as an empty hull in 1975. He was a professional finish joiner, and the interior shows the love that he put into it over a 3 year period. She was finally launched the first time in 1979.
She is in like-new condition and ready for your global circumnavigations. The boat has been continuously maintained, with recent paint, interior varnish, upholstery, engine cooling & exhaust, batteries, chain and rigging, including a new furler, self-tacking staysail track and powerful Anderson winches.
